Corbin seats
Last year I bought a Corbin saddle and what a huge waste of money thats been so far. I ordered the carbon fiber leather which actually looks great and is also the only good thing that I have to say about this seat. The first problem I had was the mounting bar. The holes in the bar had ZERO tolerence in them which means that if your sub-frame has been manufactured even 1/8" out of spec you are going to be screwed. It took me a bit of time to figure out what exactly was causing a problem. It that amount of time their memory foam has done gotten memorized from pulling back the corner and now does not sit flat against the plastic. To solve the mounting problem I have drilled out the holes on the mounting bar and everything is fine with that now. Lastly I was told that the saddle would be broken in around 1500 miles...Well...after 2500 miles it is as hard as the day I put it on. If it were not for the good looks of the seat I would have ditched it for the stock one.
As for the costumer service they did offer to take it back and send me a new one but I told them I already fixed the fit problem. They did try to help so I could give them a for that.
Has anyone else had an issue with a Corbin saddle before?
