Well, the time has come. I have decided to stop riding on the street and dedicate my attention purely to the road race track. That being said, this bike is just too damned nice to put on the track and beat the hell out of. So, I have decided to sell her, buy a blank frame, and build a track/race bike.
Quick history of the bike: I bought the bike in August of '04 with around 6000 miles on her and almost completely stock. All service and maintainance has been done by me. The bike has NEVER been crashed, wrecked, or damaged while riding. The only time anything but the tires has ever touched the ground is when my mother accidentally let is fall at a sit still on the right side in her driveway (I was volunteering in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and the bike was stored in her garage). The fall did absolutely NOTHING but put the little scratches on the right side lower (see picture below). The bar ends, exhaust, swingarm, rearsets, levers, mirrors, etc were all untouched and the ones that are on the bike now are the ones that were on the bike when it rolled off the dealer floor. The miles are almost primarily commuting miles with the occasional Hill Country run and 2 track days. Both track days (3 September 07 and 23 February 08) were run gently and without any crashes. I have meticulously maintained the bike during the time I have owned her. As an example, I still have the stock chain and rear sprocket on the bike. The sprocket has not started hooking and the chain still has room to stretch and still moves fluidly. THAT is how anal I am with maintanance. In fact, the bike with 24200 miles runs better now than she ever has before. I think she is good and broke in and is screaming like never before.
I have so much stuff for this bike, I have decided to list it with 3 different buying options so as to try and attract all manner of potential buyers.
Option A: Mostly Stock, $5500
With this option, you are getting the bike as close to stock as I cared to take it. Here is the general rundown of the bike as she sits right now, in Option A format:

For $5500, you get the bike as listed above along with a set (front & rear) of Handy Stands and an extra oil filter (OEM) for the bike. The factory tool kit, original owners manual, and all documentation will be included with the bike.
The pictures below show the bike in the condition described above and as how she sits right at this moment:
The close-ups were taken to reflect the only real "flaws" that are on the bike aside from little rockchips and the such from 24000 miles of road use. The picture of the right lower shows the damage from my mother setting it down on the side (and her leg). The right mid has the streaks pictured that happened in the hill country when they were repaving the roads in Leakey 2 summers ago. I think they will buff out with a rubbing compound, but i do not have a variable speed buffer at the moment so i cannot try. The headlight has a slight scratch in it that surprisingly looks worse in the picture than in real life (i was afraid i wasn't going to get it to show up). The tank is in great shape aside from a few swirl marks at the front corners from the magnets of a tank bag I used to ride with. The passenger seat has a slight scuff from storage but, again, it looks worse in the picture than it really is. The mileage on the gauges is the acutal mileage. Mileage at delivery may be 5-10 miles more due to showing the bike. The tires are brand new Michelin Pilot Powers in a 120/70 front and 180/55 rear. They have 2 gentle track days and about 50 road miles on them. They have LOTS of life left.

I am willing to deliver the bike anywhere within 75 miles of me for free. Any farther than that, and I will deliver for $1 per mile one way. I will also work with any shipping company the buyer selects and encourage local pick-up but, in the end, shipping is up to the buyer. The title of the bike is clear, yet I still owe about $2000 on it. This will be paid off at time of sale and I will mail the new owner the lein release with the clear title coming directly from my bank (Navy Federal Credit Union) immediately after.
Here are a couple of pictures with most of my favorite aftermarket parts installed:
A couple with the Scorpion pipe and the black fairings and dark smoke windscreen to give you an idea of what each look like on the bike:
