Front End Shake - Help

Hello all. I have a 2004 R1, 5000 miles on it. I recently purchased the unit, and it has an issue. It still has the crappy factory tires on it, so i think thats probably my issue, but just in case. Just ordered pilot Powers for front and rear. Any Ways ..... if I am at any speed (30mph or greater) and let off of the handle bars just a little bit, the front end goes in to a small wobble. I noticed it on a ride when I was at 60 mph and sat up a bit releasing my grip on the bars and it started to wobble. Today I was riding and let off the bars at 30 and kinda taped the bars and it started to wobble. I can not feel any shake in the front end as long as I have a good grip on it. Any suggestions??
Thanks!!

Steering stem bolt loose or bearing bad.. Most likely loose stem bolt, tighten it.

lift the front end and spin the wheel. Check for tire carcass warping. Also mark where it stops. Then spin again. Your tires might be out of balance.

Hey everyone, put on the pilot powers and no more shake. Thanks all. It was just tires.

Glad you got this resolved. I had the same issue, after coming back from deployment. Tire was warped from sitting too long off of stands.
