Get better Stephen, drink water more water then some more, it keeps frim getting dry heeves as well as stayin hydrated, throw in some pedialite also so you dont get rid of the electrolytes in your system. Also slowly drink coke, it helps the upset stomach while you have the flu.

I always found 7up to be better for upset stomachs and flu. But, to each their own. A lot of water and Pedialyte, or diluted Gatorade.
Oh, and did some shooting tonight with my coworker who's sponsoring me.
The bow (Mathews MR7):
The release (Tru-Fire Hardcore Max):
Typical results after shooting the 10th group of 5 arrows:
Switched over to my back tension release (Tru-Ball HT3) as I was feeling restricted by the use of a wrist strap release:
Was my second time ever shooting it, and back tensions are very finicky while you're learning to shoot them. First group with it:
Second group:
Final group of the evening (shot about five groups of five arrows with the back tension):
I know I'm a little low on the target with my back tension. But, I was focusing on form more than accuracy.

Good shooting Shawn.
I think I'm heading to the gun show this weekend to see how overpriced things are before the election. Anyone in Houston interested in going.

Thanks, James.
Enjoy the show. I'm not even going to look at prices because I know they are all out of my price range right now.

You would be surprised at the number of archery stores with ranges. Most here will have at least a 20yd. A few have 30, and only one I know with a 40yd. That's indoors. Most outdoor ranges will go to at least 40 marked with 50yd capabilities. One I need to start going to next year when the weather breaks can shoot 100yd and I'll need that.
BTW, in most cities, it's illegal to shoot a bow within city limits.

Thanks. That was all 10 and 20 yard shooting as it was focusing on form. I do shoot five spot so as to not damage arrows as much. Even at 40 yards, I can group like that.
Damaging arrows is an expensive proposition. Since I got into shooting, I've damaged or destroyed at least eighteen arrows. I've done at least three robin hoods (six arrows), and I've lost around 4 arrows. So, all told, I'm out about $250 for replacing the damaged/lost arrows. Tack on another $250 for replacing damaged vanes/fletching and it gets expensive. I have the clamps for doing my own vanes. But, lack the time right now so pay through the nose. I'm in the process of attempting to save for a bow press to start doing my own work too.
BTW, the arrows I damaged before were about $85/dozen. The ones I was shooting last night: $200/dozen. Competition grade equipment is expensive as fawk (and I'm shooting the "cheap" stuff).

I know what you mean that's why I said what I did. Back in the day when I shot a lot , would have cut fletching and creased shafts all the time, and as a kid didn't have the resources to just go get more. So by the time hunting season arrived I was down to just my hunting shafts left in the quiver.

Had a nice but cold ride this morning! almost dumped my ass off when I got back to my driveway, turned off the pavement onto the dirt, a little bit of a drop and my throttle hand blipped the throttle and all hell broke lose fcuker throwed a rooster tail to the right and left like a motocross rider before I got the clutch pulled in!
