My stockwheelbase 07 R1
New here from Iceland thought id show you guys my Stockwheelbase 07 R1. I´ve been trying to get it into the 9s and finally achieved it this summer.
ran a best 9.96@141.5mph and my best trap was 147mph Not strapped
My setup is
stock motor with 24 k miles
completely stock clutch
PC3
no airfilter
removed cats, modified stock exhaust
vortex -1 front sprocket
Michelin pilot power 2ct 190/50
530 non o-ring chain
and i weigh 176 lbs suited

Nice ! Congrats, I know the efforts required to run in the 9's with a stock R1. I have run a best of a 9.82 on my '06 R1 when it was 100% bone stock (no gearing or lowering at all). I am light, about 150 something suited. Stock gearing seems to work best for me, less time wasted wheelying. I shift at 14,000 by the tach, and usually trap at 145 to 147mph (best of 149.83!) Try shifting at 14,000 , if you're not already. Welcome to the forum !

Can't wait until next year either, you will go quicker for sure. My '12 will see the strip next year for some passes.

Next summer is gona be funn,i have now lost som wheight og the bike and gettin lighter ower the whinter,i whey ewery thing of pices that is coming of and when i isemble back to gether i whil see how mutch total LB-KG whil be lost so far about 15 kg is of the bike.
