well if you caught 70+ fish per weekend you would fish every chance you got as well . Deer season opened this weekend, hopefully i will get out and tag a deer soon. I saw 3 beavers today while fishing, apparently I need to start bringing my AR-15 on the boat with me. I swear those fvckers were jacking with me this afternoon swimming around the boat

Little bastards block our drains We have a problem with them because they weaken the dams that we built to hold up our lakes. Years back they wiped one out after tunneling into it and clogging the drain. I've never heard a beaver hiss but that little bastard started hissing at me when I got close to it on the boat.

This is the kind of shit that happens when beavers get left unchecked

A Duvall home was damaged by a surprise river of water after a beaver dam naturally broke late Monday morning and unleashed a 3-acre pond.
Aerial videos showed running water rushing through the home in the area just north of where SR-203 meets NE and 124th Street.
"A 2-foot wall of water with debris in it," said homeowner Bob Siko. "Could have swept my children away."
Siko says he's grateful he, his wife and four boys were not home when the torrent of mud, water and wood came crashing through his property.
"(The water) was 4-5 feet high when it came down," Siko said. "And it definitely could have took my family." The water also flooded a pasture which is used for a local Christmas tree lot.
Siko said the flood should have never happened. He claims he contacted the county last spring expressing concerns about the beaver dam and the huge lake that formed behind it after smaller breaches sent water across his land.
Siko says a county worker came out, inspected the dam, and said he would pass along his report to the Army Corps of Engineers.
"If the county told me it's far too big to be safe seems like maybe the Army Corps of Engineers should have come out and taken a look at that and verified that," Siko said.
A spokesperson for King County Emergency Management says she trying to find out which county department, if any, responded to Siko's complaint.
"They take this very seriously there are people who monitor those for the county," said Lynn Miller. "This one wasn't on the radar it didn't have a level of threat, as I understand it."
Siko says he wants answers eventually, but for now, just wanted to clean up and express gratitude to those helping with the clean up.
"I had friends beat me out here," he said. "By the time I got home, I had people standing here, 'What do you need?' "
Some roads in the area were covered in water after after the dam broke just after 11 a.m. But road crews were able to reopen the roads just before 2:30 p.m.

Nothing worse than a beaver that is not kept in check.

Rex, I know you said you eat all these fish but I can't see how that is possible.

We do, I rarely give fish away. Not because I'm stingy about them, we just do big fish frys. Nothing goes to waste though.

Nice mess of Bass you caught Rex. We had a big fish fry the other day. Everyone got together on the canal I live on. Fried bass, crappie and bream. I'll be heading out this weekend if the winds aren't too bad.

Very simple if you don't eat a lot of store bought meat. Friend of mine pretty much eats wild game that he's either hunted or fished throughout the year. I think he told me that in the last five years, he's only bought red meat or pork a couple of times.

Nice! I've got my eye on a boat here locally if the bike sells. Fish/ski and I really like it. Nice electronics/good motor and trolling motor.

Got a new weapon for my assault on the aquatic species, 19 ft sprint bass boat w/ 125 hp 2 stroke. Dual sonor/gps chart plotters, livewells, 65lb trolling motor. Just ordered a humminbird downscan/gps combo and have already done some damage to the local lakes. I'm trying to stock 2 retention ponds behind my house, so all fish caught locally go into there so that I can have a good pond for my daughter to fish hopefully.

Looking good Rex. The Fish N Ski model you got will come in handy for water sports too. I've not been on the water in a few weeks. Getting the itch to head back out soon.

Nice eye . It's what I wanted, I don't like full on bass boats, I can pull a skier with this and I love the full windshield and Bimini if it rains. Great on gas with the 4 cylinder and has everything I want/need. I also got the previous owners maps and brush piles marked on the plotter, an added bonus

Went out last night and hit Lake Austin after dark. A couple people have submerged lights off their docks. Limited out in under an hour on the lights, was damn nice weather as well. Heading out of work early today to go deer hunting, hopefully going to be filling the freezer with venison tomorrow

Good luck mate, make sure you take some pics.
I use to go deer hunting with my father when I was young. Miss those days.
