That is a messed up story... Hate to see cases where the rule of law doesn't apply, unfortunately that is how the world is going around at the moment. Best of luck with your project.

To tell you the truth I don't know. When I got the bike back the can was gutted and the outlet crushed... The silver piece in the back is actually the trim that goes to the bottom of the can. I cut the crushed part off and reversed the bottom trim to turn it into the outlet.
Tell you what, titanium is hard as hell on cut-off wheels!!!!!!

Prowler, don't think I haven't agonized over that very idea... Every time I see him it takes restraint not to do anything.
Oh well. He'll get his.

Why would you want a "Yoshi" pipe on your R1?

Sorry to hear about what happened but I am glad you got your bike back.
I think restoring back to original is doable but a lot of $$$ and hard work. What do you think about going naked? I think someone else mentioned it already ........... you would save a boat load of cash and still have an amazing bike. Just a thought.
I have to say one more thing - I would hire a lawyer - an ambulance chasing, young, cocky lawyer from out of town. Someone who might think about stiring up some problems away from his home. Almost all lawsuits settle out of court. A judge is an elected position and he will have to go through an election process........ I'm just sayin.......
Whatever happens I'm glad you have your bike back. Good luck

sucks to hear about your bad fortune but at least you got it back. looks quite fixable. not sure i would pursue the situation with the law. sounds like you'll bring more trouble on yourself than good. if anything , retribution is often best cold
