I saw no difference either. Still runs hot...at least at Miller.

I'm actually considering doing the cbr radiator mod.
I swung by the local dealership today and was peeking at an 07 1000rr, and damn those radiators are big. Almost twice the r1's. I contacted Shane about the LINK graves system and the builds will be modular, so I can just snatch up a header and it'll bolt to my 3/4 system. As long as the price is reasonable, I'll either snatch a LINK system header and a radiator add-on, or I'm going to swap with a cbr radiator. I've created an account on the Honda forums, and im gonna get some specs on the cbr radiator soon, see if it will fit with the stock headers I have now.
Either way my entire cooling system has been apart and checked, and a new water pump will be going in soon. I don't think I have a pump problem, but I want piece of mind, so this is what I'm doing. My cousin and uncle are master welders for unlimited welding, and my cousin is going to swap the tabs on my radiator for me over some beers, so all I need to do is be patient and wait to see what the price on this link system is.
Unfortunately that means my riding is done this year, but I'm ok with that. The bike needs new rotors, a new brake master cyl, and this heating issue fixed, and I'd rather start 2013 on a freshened up bike over a continually abused one.
Im worried my riding will be a little rusty though

So in going to the track in two weeks, I know I said I was done but w/e, bike has a new water pump and thermostat, so hopefully she doesn't overfill the coolant resivoir at Jennings and cause a huge slip... Lotta lefts and the resivoir is on the left
We shall see
