I need help Yamaha R1

HELLO MY DEAR'S

i'm from Georgia (europe) . i won 2005 yamaha r1 (LOST KEY) in copart , USA

and i'm interested These bikes have a CHIP KEY ? or have a default key

it's very important to me

US bikes do not have a chip key for immobilizer.

I think it depends on the milage on the motor and how much it is gonna cost you to get it road worthy. Looks kinda rough as is. You could maybe part it out and make a profit.

thank you Bro. but platstic is not problem . rapear coast is 600-700 $

ONLY I HAVE KEY PROBLEM , if this key is chipped , i don't need this motorcycle

Doubtful it's a euro model if bought here in the states, any Yamaha dealer can get the key numbers to make you the correct key for the bike from the V.I.N. #. A title or proof of ownership WILL be required though. You can also buy a complete lockset from a salvage yard (best bet) or new set from any Yamaha dealer. A locksmith can also custom cut a key as well.

just go keyless, copart is a US auction company. There's plenty of threads for keyless ignition, bypass your problem all together.
