LG Nexus 4 phone

Anyone else looking at purchasing this phone when its released? Im rather disappointed they dont have a 32GB version...only 8 and 16gb. But this will probably be my phone for when i switch over to Tmobile the beginning of the year. 16GB unlocked for $350 straight from google. 8GB for 299

I've read about it, but am unable to use it because of my carrier being CDMA. It's a sweet device and an incredible value vs other phone manufacturers. Essentially a 2 year contract price with no contract and truly cutting edge tech. Not much else you can want. I like the performance and display of my GS3, but don't like the style.

yeah it sucks for a lot of people its not CDMA or LTE. But I understand Googles reasoning behind it. to put it on those services they would be forced to actually work with the carriers. and they want this phone to remain free from the carriers bloatware and their meddling and delays with OS updates.

For sure. It also illustrates the enormous greed other manufacturers/carriers are displaying. I always install a recovery and flash a nice clean version of android, generally with some nice extras added in. AOKP is my go to rom now.

ive been running Sourcery rom on my galaxy nexus for months now and have had no interest in switching to another ROM...its one of the most customizable roms ive ever seen. I hope to hell they work on the nexus 4.

so after a couple week back order I got the nexus 4 in. its a sharp ass looking phone. LG really stepped up their quality..this thing is very nice. i would actually put it right up there with Motorola build quality.

the phone is fvckin fast as hell. quad core is smooth as butter. . too bad im stuck with verizon until february and cant activate this phone on verizons network. once feb gets here ill be going to tmobile $30 plan.
i gotta say Jelly bean 4.2.1 is pretty damn nice. I also just got my current galaxy nexus updated to it....custom rom bu JB sourcery. it took a little getting used to on the new "settings" button on top that gives you a screen full of toggles. but overall android is improving itself month by month...while apple is stuck breathing in Andys dust

I hear that from many people but roughly 80% of the people i work with have tmobile and have no complaints. and they are all on their phones 24/7 chatting it up and texting
