Morimoto Elite HID System
Ok.. So I installed this hid kit and it is working great so far. I have zero complaints. What I am wondering is - Does anyone have this on their bike with the heavy duty relay harness??? This thing is pretty big. I have it as of now under the windscreen.. And it is very very tight under there.. To the point where it is pressing up the front fairing a little..
Looking for some help again or a little advice on where to put this monstrosity

I put a relay on my bike but I made it up with parts from RadioShack so no clue on the "monstrosity".

Did you try to put it under the seat? there's plenty of room and the cables should be long enough to reach the ballasts....

Marsh - ya, but there is a 1 cord that is really short and I don't think would make it to the front....

Did you get the 3Five kit? Is it unnecessary to use the relay?

with most 35w kits no need for a relay. with my ddm 55w kit i just bought a generic relay and modified it for a bike.
on another note. the morimoto kits are freakin fantastic. i just wasnt sure they would fit in the bike so i just got some slim ddms

I thought about that when I first installed it being that I hooked it all up without the relay and it seemed fine .... But I thought - Well, they include it for a reason... And I have it, so I might as well use it...
So there should be no problem if I took it off and hooked it back up without it...
thanks again
