Thanks man! I've been working at everything slowly but surely. I'll keep you in mind when I'm planning on going back, I start school so I'm not 100% certain

Nice vid Gear! Pretty smooth! Who was the guy you were trailing towards the end? A buddy or someone you were trying to get around. Looks like he was slowing you down a bit.

Yeah that's a buddy of mine, he's actually a forum member "JeffD"

He's actually really fast, but the day before we went out he tweaked his back so he wasn't able to ride that well, I usually stay in the mid to high 1:20's around the track, he's usually low 1:20's, almost into the teens.

After watching my video versus a couple of the advanced videos, I realize a lot of the mistakes I made around the track. An example would be turn 5-6, I didn't treat it like a single turn, Same with turn 10 – 11. Between that and the miles and miles of braking I need to improve, I'm still pretty happy with how much I've improved my skill at Jennings for only being there twice

Ok, finally did a trackday after a whole year off but boy I missed it... A year away takes a toll on your skills jeez.... In this video I was followed by a buddy in a bimmer.

Here are my two videos from Putnam on 9-23-12. I rode in Novice group, this was my 5th track day ever.

Constructive critique welcome.

From the session right after lunch. The GoPro was mounted on the tail of the bike. The GPS did not track properly due to bad placement on my part, so no GPS overlay on this session.

The first lap not shown was getting the tires up to temp. The lap times from the video are 1: (46.9, 40.0, 43.0, 45.9, 37.1, 41.2, 35.1, 36.8)

From the second to last session. 10Hz GPS data logging with RaceChrono and then RaceChrono2AVI to make the overlay. Best lap time was 1:34.

Thanks Guys did you tear up when you saw the bike on fire? dont be too upset.. it WAS only a honda haha and the rider just went back to just on one of his other 2 spare ones :S lol

the endurance race was awesome fun! just 4hrs of passing every lap pretty much!

Thanks. It is. This was my 3rd time there this year. Its a fast track that seems to get faster everytime I ride it. Its pretty wide so passing is not a problem.
