TPS Out of Spec 16/89??
I ran DIAG on my TPS the other day and came up with 16/89. So I did a search and last year Jamie (Toysareforboys) posted almost an identical thing and not many replies. I PM'ed him and he said he didn't fix it and the bike is still ok. However, the sacred bible says if it's out of spec then it's time to replace. The bike seems to operate fine, but is this a sign that I may have a failing TPS? Should this be replaced or ride this out? Anyone else have this issue?
Thank you.

No codes thrown and it's running fine then roll with it.

That's what Jamie said as well. Will I be losing any acceleration from the bike thinking the throttle is only 89% open? If so is it going to be a significant or noticeable difference?

Could my low TPS number be contributed to excessive throttle cable freeplay? I've noticed since I've gotten the bike it's had a considerable larger amount of freeplay vs my R6.

Maybe the wot number but not the closed reading. Get it in spec and check again.

z064- It's an 06.
Skunk- I apologize, that's what I meant. The low WOT number, not the 16.

Well, tried adjusting the cable slack to nil to see if it would increase the WOT value. No dice.
R1- I wouldn't even know how to answer that, mine's at 16 and runs great! Haven't tried adjusting it from 16.
