Quick Update: Track Body Work.

I got the track plastics fitted, painted, and installed. So far for the money ($300) I highly recommend the formula1composites Track body work. They are quite flexible and seem very sturdy. Sure there are some small defects in the top coat that would not win a show with out more work with sanding and some bondo, but these are for the track . I painted them with DupliColor Paint Shop lacquer, black and then clear. For my first paint job ever, I would say that I met my goal of a 5-10 foot paint job nicely. I also installed stomp grip to help with BP at the track, hopefully it helps.











All in all I am more than happy with the results, and can't wait to ride Barber in a few days...

Maybe 2-3 ish hours doing it slowly so that I don't scratch any of the OEM stuff. Once the OEM stuff is off, it only takes like 10 min to put the track stuff on. For 300$ it is well worth it to not ruin like 2K$ worth of OEM plastics...

Oh I'm not saying its not...I'm saying to compare them to other track plastics. If they hold up, great....if not then you have to look at overall costs, how often you crash, etc to decide if they are a "good deal" or not.

Auctmart fairings are better than oem to crash from a $$ perspecitive...but they don't hold up any better WHEN you crash

Agreed. But I am looking at it as I might as well by these because I can afford it more so than the other brands, and it is sort of a self insurance for the OEM plastics...
