I don't see how it should have ever gotten to 36%+ in the 1st place...by the time you factor in state and local that means the govt gets more of your money than you do....
I do see your point, but from my perspective taxes should be fair and reasonable. taking more of a guys check than they get doesn't seem fair at all.

it's obvious the tax code and gov't spending will need a revamp and then getting double taxed on capital gains isn't fair. I'm with you on that. However you are looking at historic lows on the tax rate for the wealthy.
