Not sharpshooting you here....just pointing things out you should consider in case you haven't.

A gallon of water?? Even a few gallons won't last very long.
So when you start BBQing and the hungry, desperate neighbors start smelling it?
Do you see the picture we are tryin to paint for you here?

I have a sh!t ton of MRE's. The best damn thing the military gave me lol.
I think its important to be ready for anything I have an emergency duffle bag with water, some MRE's, space blankets, some flint, a bag of dry leaves to start a fire, TP, water purification tablets, compass, etc. This is usually what I take with me when I go hiking, camping, or hunting.
For the house I do have some canned goods packed always, some water. some guns and ammo, some fuel.

What are you going to do the second day? Water goes fast. 8 gallons a week to live decently, 13 to use if it's going to be long term. I have a 30k gallon reserve.

Depends on how doped up or hungry they are.

Its not that I am worried that someone will take my supplies. Im a good shot and have plenty of ammo.
My problem is that I dont think I could refuse helping.
Would you be able to turn away a starving child?

I would like to help but word of mouth could sink you and your supplies.

I've got an app for that. Plan refugees into the mix. They can be helpful.
