First R1

Good afternoon gentleman! Been riding an R6 for about 5 years now and would like to step up to an R1 next season. My price range is about $6000 so I'm looking for a Raven between 05-08. Anything to look out for in bikes in this timeframe? Pros cons to these years? Any advice is appreciated.

Cheers!

05-08 consist of 2 different gen R1's so take a close look and see what body style you like more. check out the bikes for sale on here. best way to see feed back and honest sellers IMHO

for your price range I would say look for an 04-06.

Hey maybe I am biased but the 04 is a great choice. The 04 - 06 are the same generation. You could probably get a nice 04 with some mods for 5k with low miles.
