Something like this would typically take me anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months and I'm going to guess this one to be about 3-4 weeks (this thread is helping me stay motivated so thank you guys!)

My parents thought I had a talent and signed me up for art classes young (but with that said every parent typically thinks their kid is talented). My father had a bit of an artist in him so perhaps he passed that along to me.
Attached is the latest...I would have done a bit more but the paint I was using dried and I'm too lazy to mix more....plus I'm tired from the stupid time change.
Back rim done and started the first layer of the front rim a bit

The swing arm and the rear rotor look unreal.
The whole thing so far looks incredible, but the attention to detail on those specifically is wicked!

I really expected to get more done today since I had the day off but only managed to get some of the front rotor/brakes done.
I guess I'm use to painting Yamaha's because there are some things that are a bit weird on this Duc comparatively speaking

dude!! thats just crazy..
i never expected the detail to jump out at me like that.. but that swing-arm
and brake system detail is insane.!!
great work!!...
i would say i had the artist gene in me early on as well, but i've always leaned
towards music, painting was fun with my grandma when i was a kid .. i just
dont have the patience for it though.... music has always stuck with me... so of course creativity is always close by
looks like you've def. got some talent..

In that case I need to start photoshopping out the paint marks I'm getting all over (front of the front tire and now on the fairing). Whoops!
Thanks again for all the comments guys

Didn't get nearly that much done this weekend and I need to fix the Shell logo (too much red, not enough yellow) but got more of the front done
