Damn, I hate this ****in place! Dropped my BWC 09 this past wkend and stumbled across this thread. I already bought a 09 OEM upper cowl. Wish I would've thought about a conversion and now I'm stuck.
Time to start sellin some blood. LOL Gonna ride w/ my cracked fairing and try and sell the one I just bought and do the conversion too!
Anyone know what windscreen Guate has on his bike? Thanks!

The parts have been sitting around since around April, but I finally got them installed a couple weeks ago. Was curious if everybody else got the side brackets that hold the intake duct covers with theirs or did you guys even bother installing them?
I had the anchor nut holding the bolt to the intake duct covers at first, but ordered the brackets at a local dealership. Here's some pics to what I'm talking about:

Well that sucks, hope nobody threw mine out if they were in the package. I had a bunch of boxes at my brother's house and all the packages were opened and combined to consolidate space while I was away.

You don't need em, I put my covers back on just using one bolt on each side, its just a light piece of plastic, or carbon, whichever, is not going anywhere, just use one bolt on each side and call it a day.

That's what I did at first, but put the anchor nuts on the back of the other bolts so at least it didn't look like it was missing bolts... my OCD wouldn't let me leave it half assed so I ordered the brackets to make it official. Things were like $3 a pop from the stealership.

Anyone got a parts list and an updated cost?
I'm going to need the bluish white upper, I forget the part number.
What's Nicks screen name on here again for a conversion kit.

If you're referring to the corner LED's, then yes, those are the stock bulbs, as far as we know, you can not replace them.

Thanks for the response. I figured they were the stock bulbs. Still awaiting response for the bracket.
Thanks

should the led lights light up if the ignition is off and the key is to on position? if so I may have done something wrong, or do the only light up when bike is on?
Thanks
