My movers got here today, my first day at my new job and I had to take a half day off.
I have a dresser sitting in the living room, although the guys probably would have been able to get it upstairs, I don't want to haul it back down in a year or so when I move, the bitch is heavy and solid.

You two need to do what I am:
Pitching damn near all furniture over the fence so the neighbors can burn it in their fire pit.
I figure when I move out of this place, all the furniture that'll need to be moved is the dining set (inherited from paternal grandmother), one shelf and the bed. I want very few things left from married life.

I'd like to but the bedroom set I bought a couple of years ago, pretty nice stuff and as I mentioned, hopefully only one more move and the next one after that will be feet first in a body bag on a gurney.

Okay, so you've replaced the stuff after the split I take it. I'm half tempted to put the bed on fire too. But, it's made out of heavy lumber, lag bolts and reinforced. Perfect for those escapades with the ladi...
Ah hell. Who'm I kidding. I should just burn it and sleep on a cot.
