Trackday Noise Levels

So I just booked my first ever track day - Brands Hatch in 3 weeks time - So excited!

Looking at the details, the noise limits are 105db (A) at 5500 rpm, they also have a drive by limit of 92db(A) at 20m

I run a 2009 with Akra pipes with no baffles and no cat, she's pretty loud

Anyone have any idea if I will be ok? I would hate to have to put the baffles in!

Cheers guys!

The set up you have isn't ''very'' loud, you should be below those decibel limits.

I'd be more worried about the weather in 3 weeks time at Brands

If you want the actual db of those akras you can go to their site, they show the before and after db. That is, if the track marshals have enough energy to actually test your bike...

I wear the foam ear plugs and my ears ring when I come in from a run. But You should be fine at the track. they won't be testing a complete looking system.
