Thanks for the help about the suspension. I have noticed that the previous owner has made the ride stiffer than usual. I'm going to put it back to stock settings and go from there

So I got the exhaust cans off and in the process of drilling out the rivets but I need a stronger drill to get it done. Also on the bright side is that the baffle kit comes with screws instead of new rivets!

Remember, the tighter you wrap the fiberglass the louder it will be, loose will be quieter. Lets just say that my baffles with y pipe no make me have to wear ear plugs when I ride its THAT loud

Wasssup dude
[QUOTE=graphitegripper;5400883]I wouldn't run velocity stacks since the 07-08 run variable velocity stacks unless he is drag racing only
Graves VS its variable, and you can use it on the street or track, ive got on my self...you gonna love it, you can feel the power comparing to full system exhaust.
Peace

Baffles are easy to do. Front sprocket is easy to do.

Here is the link:

You can buy them as a full kit (lower & upper) togther, or just the lower and upgrade to the upper in the future.
All the best my friend.

I can't believe how much trouble I am having with the baffles. My holes don't line up with each other when I put the end cap on.

You have to kinda tap them down into place because they are a little wider than the area where they sit. Does that make sense? You gotta force them down for that last 1/2".

I did mine within 45 mins. 2nd one was a pain. Gotta make sure u get the bottom of the baffle to slide over the pipe in the back of the can. Then twist to make sure the longest point of the baffle is at the top of the can and the cap should go on pretty easy after. Also wait to put the threaded clips for the screws on until after you get a good test fit on bc they like to snag the fiberglass.

See I knew somethin was wrong with this! Our bikes in this thread are 07-08 models. The 04-06 and 09-11 have velocity stacks. Never found a set for 07-08.
Thanks again tho. Good look

We do t have the flashing options here in south africa and we are too stuck in our old ways to try it....
But i had a bone stock 08 and small upgrades i found usefull and clean up the looks is stompgrip which helps alot with leg grip and sitting nice n tight, a puig screen really adds to look and makes quite a difference to keeping head stable at speed n flush indicators and mirror blanks to clean up the look
Oh and did the 520 trick whick i reccomend.
Sofar im dead happy
