has anyone else had the check engine light come on the bike at a stop sign before? earlier today the CEL came on for about 2 seconds then went away... it was really weird, then when i went to go take off i had no power, i was like 3/4 throttle in 1st and the bike was barely doing like 40... i go freaked out, but then at the next stop sign, i took off and it was like nothing ever happened, i had power again and the bike was fine... anyone else had this happen before?

I may be able to finally cross off one of my long time wish list items . . . the endurance chain holder for the swingarm. These are now available from Spiralspinner (Japan), price is $49 USD plus shipping. These are actually listed for the 08-12 Honda CBR 1000RR, made by TSR out of alloy, available in red or blue. Will post more once I get it

Interesting I take it they are to hold the chain while changing wheels? Makes sense keep it out of the dirt.

same thing actually happened to me on my 03 about a week ago, I came to a stop and the CEL came on but by the time I staryed moving again it had gone away and did not create any issue...freaked me out a bit though

I have had these Techspec pads sitting on my shelf in the office for over two years while I debated on whether to put them on or leave them off and keep the smooth lines of the tank

You're not playing fair Ron.
You have so much on your bike I want, but it's just not made any more.
BTW I think the tank grips work well.
If you happen to know of a set of Waston flush mounts or chain adjusters with the gp lifts let me know.

We have over 70 people on the list, I know there are people with the Gilles Chain Adjusters on their rides.
What I need is someone who is willing to send me their adjusters so I can get some sets made.
To the person that is willing, I'll pay all shipping costs and also sent you some "Aussie Style" gifts on return of the adjusters.
If you want, I'll even have the adjusters named after you.
I would only need them for a few weeks max.
This will be a benefit to all us '02/'03 owners who want them.
Please PM me if you are able to help me out, so I can help other '02/'03 owners out.

That seems to be nice HP for an 03. Curious about the torque though, isn't it a little on the low side? Shouldn't the -1 +2 increase torque? Totally stock it should be somewhere in the seventies right?

That was my thought too, when I got mine mapped I got 153/80 on stock gearing. Maybe due to the gearing and gear selected with yours?

T.C. I will cover half the cost of the shipping if someone loans you a set to make a copy of. Also I bought a set off ebay for 04-09. They are not even close to fitting ours. No way to even mod them. Too far off
