If you don't end up getting Melvin's, look into Protons. Its the only brand that I've used on 3 bikes. Super bright and let you pick what kind of blink you want (standard, phase out or strobe).

Just do what I did. Order your watsens and get some cheap hot bodies or something to hold you over till the watsens come in. Watsens FTW!!

I might take those off your hands... still feel like selling them? If so, can you send pics / price?

The Protons are pretty good - I had them on my old 600RR.
I recommend waiting for the Watsens if you can't get a used set. It takes awhile, but there's a reason everyone waits.

I've got Lockhartt-Phillips, $30 new work fine and fit wonderfully. Plug and play so no wire cutting and splicing. I've been very happy with them so far.
An acceptable alternative imo if you want to pay about 1/4 of the price for a part that makes no difference in performance.

I was looking for flush mounts for my 98 R1 as well. I dont think watsens make them for the 98 so its prob a ebay set for me.
