Track Help
I have been to buttonwillow once on my R1. I bought new tires before the event. I want to go to buttonwillow again on sun with my ktm supermoto.
do you guys replace your tires before each track event?
buying new tires before each even is $$$$

Depends on how much tire you have left. Post up a pic or two and we can judge if you've got enough.
Also each tire comes with wear bars, so if you're not below the wear bars I'd say why not

Only if they are worn out. Some of the quicker guys I know from on here need new tires after each weekend depending on the track.

On occassion that would be accurate as well
Thankfully whatever they did at Barber is working and I should get another day and hopefully weekend. That extra wear will save me between 1-2k/year in tires.

I don't buy tires before each event if I don't have to. Sometimes it gets expensive.
Now if I had the means to do it, I'd have new tires every time I went out on track

For what those tires are they are practically new. Most here aren't sponsored by a tire manufacturer so we run tires until they aren't any good. Look at my picture above...they are past the wear marks and the tread is gone on the side....they still passed tech and I still ran them for an entire day...
