Where to buy head gasket in USA or Aussie???

Hey guys.

My 2001 R1 is getting closer to being up and running again, and I just need a few more bits and pieces.

I want to get a slimmer than stock head gasket, and Im wondering where the best place is to get one?
My local yamaha Dealer can only locate stock head gaskets.

I dont mind buying from aussie or the USA, and I'm wondering where you guys recommend if I want a good quality head gasket at a fair price?

I have seen a few on Ebay but not sure if they are any good or not, I will post a link

If I go with the ebay, would you recommend the .25mm or the .50mm one? Im thinking thinner would be best, but open to persuasion either way if you have a reason for your particular preference?

Looks like the only choice available besides stock, I would go for it, 100% positive feed back with lots of sales. I'd get the .25 as well. Might want to wait for an R1 specific engine guru to chime in.

You could try Ken Colvin here in Vic, he was/is the Wiseco distributer here.
I got a head gasket and a copper base gasket from him for my CB900 build a while ago. The guy knows his stuff.

Tim,
Ping Woodzee here on the forum. I know he has 02/03 head gaskets. I believe they may fit your year as well, so may be worth a check.
