that's because they are cheaper....both from a quality and fitment perspective.

Auctmarts is a vendor here that gets good reviews for the money

I have a set of auctmarts fairings on my 05. Te red in my shift red did match fairly close when first installed. Then faded rapidly. You can see the difference under certain lighting as well... But for the money it is ok for now... Also fitment was good for me on all pieces except one.

I low sided on my left side on the freeway in the rain. I changed all fairings except the tank cover. That's where I notice it most. Tank and tank fairings are the same color, all other fairings faded. It was only in one season.

Try Stadium Yamaha, best prices I found for my '06 factory bodywork. You have all winter, get the good stuff and you won't regret it later. Was your T.C. turned off ?

Trackion control was on, i am not sure it just slid out, i have a feeling it was a combination of new tires (battleax s-20 not broken in less than 40 miles on them), cold weather about 40degrees F and i had my bike shop "properly fix a puncture" on my rear s-20 and they might have left some kind of SOAPY COATING on my tire so they can find the puncture.
