r1 power cuts off then comes back
hi everyone!
i have an issue with my 03 r1.the bike has 6120 miles,everything was fine till i came back from work.the issue is : as soon as i go over 4000 it kicks up and takes off. some kind off stutter,it actually does not go on high rpm.i can ride slowly and no issue,but as soon as i open the throttle it power goes on/on, but when i insist and keep my wrist on the throttle the power will come but slowly and it will keep cutting on/off !any ideas?any help is welcome

I know this is way old but OP if your still around, did you ever figure out what was causing the problem? i've been looking for months as to what is causing this, its happening on my 07 as well!

Holly thread from the dead!
The bike shop fixed it for $80,It wasn't a big deal : changed the spark plugs,run some liquid(gas treatment) through the tank and adjusted throttle bodies(they said it was out of sync).
