They've had the Aircraft carrier on the damn in central china for years. Practicing on a stable platform in a closed environment ain't going to help them for shit. Land the bastard on the deck of a carrier in big seas - live in front of world media, every 2 mins for a week, then I'll be impressed.

Those chinese pilots will shit a brick attempting a proper landing with rolling, pitching, and high winds involved

Don't underestimate them. A noob chinese pilot landing on a carrier is not much different than a noob american pilot landing on a carrier. Quality of equipment, now that's another story.

It'll be interesting to see them in 5 years. They'll have an entire fleet group up by then. Bye Bye Taiwan.

Pacific fleet would fvck them up, and they would have to worry about the possibility of an Atlantic battle group coming from behind them.

Nice Warriors reference btw

This is like their space program, about 50-60 years behind us. Nothing but propaganda sword-rattling. Probably more to settle the internal discontent than external bravado.
