2011, Brembo Underslung Rear Calliper Brake Line length?.

2011, Brembo Underslung Rear Calliper Brake Line length?.

Help needed.
Santa is bringing me a Brembo Calliper for under my swinging arm, I have seen loads on here with the brake line going on the inside of the swinging arm and the outside round the end etc…..Which looks best?? And how long does it have to be?
Also looking at gold line with gold fittings on Matte Black bike....Is this the best colour as I am changing most things over winter to gold?

Cheers

I went inside the swinger where I figure it will be safer from damage and looks better than around the back on the outside. If you go inside the length I was sent in a kit was 26" banjo to banjo. As far as color goes, that's all subjective and determined by the owners taste. I personally prefer a more subtle look that blends rather than stands out. It's all up to you.

I was thinking inside the swinging arm looked a tad better. I have always gone for the more subtle look but think I am having a mid-life crisis lol

I believe mine is a 26"

It can also fit around the swingarm, but I prefer this route personally.

I ran mine behind the swinger both before and after installing qd's. I shortened the line even further when I had the lines made for the qd's. I was able to do this by putting in some 90 degree fittings.

Rafael gave me a package deal on a hugger with a sbk airbox cover. I already had the swingarm covers.
