WTB: 09-12 R1 Ohlins Forks
I'm just throwing this out there... before spring I would like to slap a set of ohlins on my bike but at the present time I am not willing to pay the asking amount for them so if anyone has a used set they are looking to get rid of shoot me a pm and maybe we can negotiate a price.
Thanks,
Sean

Cartridge kits are less than 1/2 the cost, with all the benefits of R/T forks. I think thats the route I'll go eventually.

You can even get a TTX shock AND cartridge kit, for less than the cost of R/T forks alone.

Had both prior. The R/T's are a little smoother and soak up the bumps better.
Carts are about 85% of the RT's IMHO.

It all depends on how it is set up. My tuner told me to buy the carts, he can rebuild the shim stack to make them act just like the RT. if you have a guy willing to do the suspension work and help set it up an tune it go with the carts. I have 30mm carts going in my front end right now and they are are already upgraded with full race tech now

Mine were built by Dan Kyle. He was AMA tuner of the year twice. They were excellent forks, no complaints but the RT's were a little bit better. YMMV.

I can suggest a suspension shop that'll sell them for about 20% off. Maybe more. Cartridges or forks.
