It is definitely different, but I like the feel of the more than the Sigs, walther, XD.
I do miss the mag release on the USP a TON though. Something about clipping the release with the middle finger, grabbing another mag and sliding it in, then brush the MASSIVE slide release.
Glocks have a slightly more angled grip though, I have noticed I am "pointing" down more with the Glock than I did with the USP, which is a habit I need to break and fast.

You can upgrade the HK usp to the new version release on the P2000 and HK 45. Works even better. I'm considering it but need to do more research on the myriad holsters I have for the USP.

Oh I know
The crispness of it was just fantastic compared to the Glock. I guess the best comparison is like comparing the Scion FRS to the Porsche Cayman.
Both do a very good job at what they are designed to do, one just has a hell of a lot more polished feel

You're going to have to do some research; there are so many.
As for thinking about buying one now, you are probably a day late and a Dollar short.

At this point grab what you can. Colt,DPMS,Bushmaster,LMT,LWRC,Sig Sauer,Rock River, Stag Arms.....just to name a few. Some like LMT and LWRC are more expensive than the others.
