I brought them a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 with 27K on it that I was trying to trade for a Avalanche. They wanted to give me 6k for the MS3. I told the to F-off and went to the chevy dealer. I got 16,500 for the MS3 with a KBB of 17 at the time. CARMAX SUX!!!!!!!

And did you pay MSRP for the Avalanche?

Sorry to hear you are upset about your purchase. Unfortunately its on you to do research on the car. I personally do not like Carfax at all, but they have built a good brand around their concept. There are other, more detailed reports you can get. A lot of places do not report things to Carfax and if the owner had an accident and paid out of pocket you would never know.
Autocheck in my experience is much better. I have seen cars at auction that are on the block listed as "Unibody damaged" that Carfax didnt show anything on, but Autocheck did.
As others have stated, if your vehicle has been running perfectly fine I dont see why you are so upset. Just because a vehicle had an accident (small or large) if it was properly fixed it should still be a good car.
