Will there be an m1 replica without #'s on it? That would be GREAT!

Please please PLEASE give us something LED inspired for headlights so we can run this kit on the street A removable headlamp cut-out like the endurance bikes would be nice to convert the kit from street to track and vise versa...
I would definitely want that in carbon fiber

and yes! carbon fiber would be absolute killer.! ...
little inspiration for yah!

You all realize the full '04-'06 M1 body kit runs a couple $k in fiberglass so expect a cf version to be significantly more $$.

Dont worry...everything you ask,is already in our plans...
Carbon fiber is our specialty!
About the headlights, they will be diferent ...im the first replicas,we used the headlights of the yamaha raptor, but they did give that much light.
After we changed for the yamaha R6 headlights, they work much better...but on this one we will try to use the original headlights, but we have to check if its possible to put them there.
Later on i will put the photos here from the tail ligths of the camel, and laguna replica...
But maybe the solution will be to use a tail ligth like the M1 uses in wet races.
If we use this solution it will be possible to do the replica with out any changed on the tail fairing, and it will be cheapper Also.
We dont have any idea about what is going to be the price of the replicas, but we are going to do a special price for the first order...
But about that i will give some news in the future!
In case you guys dont know,in orders above 200€ we are offering the shipping from Portugal to the USA and CANADA,but for the replicas we will do something diferent!...even better!!!!

This thread begs the question, WHY? Why has Yamaha (and other companies for that matter) not made something similar to the MotoGP machines that get so much free press and are desired by so many of their most ardent fans? Now i understand the GP machines are built to go as fast as possible for 45 minutes at a clip and nothing else, but why not make a machine that is say nearly identical and simply...ten percent larger in order to be more comfortable and to fit all that extra stuff required for the road. Clearly there is a massive demand for the machines, demand by the most loyal of customers, so WHY?.

What does that have to do with this thread? Honda is making a MotoGP replica for the street and it's going to cost a small fortune. That's why, most people don't want to spend 50k+ on a streetbike, regardless of the technology. Lacomoto is a vendor here who sells carbon fiber goodness, along with other services.

you believe that a company making a mold for bodywork that looks like the gp bike will add 35k to the price of a bike?
I didn't say add a detuned motogp engine and GP Ohlins/showa to the bike I was more referring to the styling, which coincidentally is what this thread is about .

You might've clarified in the original post, obviously, reshaping the plastics would not add much to the price. I think the main idea is that MotoGP machines are prototypes. Having production bikes with the same styling kind of goes against the "no production counterparts" idea. At least we have this as an option.

I know the whole prototype theme needs to be adhered to, but if the bike was proportionally 10% larger then it technically wouldn't be the same as the race machine, TAKE THAT DORNA!

i would try to put the rn22 headlights, they would look smaller since only 1 lens per side with full functionality of them and 2 W5W bulbs. And of course give exactly same light.
For rear go CAMEL replica

Not to delay you but you might want to wait until the new sponsor is revealed for the MotoGP factory team. Probably won't see it until after the first tests in 2013.
