BUT.... Because we get such a high price for our exported beef...we have to pay $18-30 per kg for it!
My Mrs and I ( no kids) pay $180 per week on groceries, on average.

Kangaroo isn't farmed....it's shot wild and fetches a "game" premium. And it would make a disgusting burger. Imagine beef with 300% more blood flavour!

I thought those things were like pigs here, a pest that was shot for sport

They are a pest, but they mostly get used for dog food. Being giant bouncy fvckers, they're naturally tough as old boots. So the ones that are shot for human consumption, aren't chased around for an hour, and shot five times by drunk rednecks first!

What everyone of those idiots doesn't realize is that if their pay doubled to $15/hr, they would very quickly lose their jobs altogether because people with better work ethic, better reliability, better skills, etc.... who are making $10-$12/hr right now would all seek out employment at McDonalds for easier work and more pay. Assuming people would pay the price increases, etc.... McDonalds workforce would make a significant step forward and the people who minimum wage was intended for would be out of a job completely.

That's basically the same thing that happens when minimum wage gets increased....those that rely on minimum wage hit the unemployement line
And if McDonalds get's 15/hr, I know the one in my hometown will be SWAMPED with applications as most of the factories only pay 11-13. And some of those are union

Lazy fcvks need to realize, working at McDonalds is for kids and people who use it as a secondary income source, it is not for people that feel entitled to have 4 kids, live in 2000 sq ft houses, drive new cars, vacation at Disney and the beach every year and have flat screens throughout the house, but don't feel the need to earn their way to it.

wait...you have to earn those things?? If you have more kids the govt just gives you more if you choose to not earn the ability to pay for them.

You will start seeing more and more of this. Unions attempting to increase their muscle by organizing this stuff like the Wal-mart strike. The media also makes it appear it is the workers organizing the strike. If you interviewed people in the crown I bet only 1 in 4 is a wendys worker. The rest are people paid or trucked in by big labor.

you know unions are pratically saints...I don't believe they would ever dream of doing such a thing. Those are real people fighting for real rights....you know the right to get their fair share of the pie. There is a point people make too much no matter how good, how educated, or how hard they work. equality people...equality
