mine are lucky. Two are in the cab with me the others are in a heated dog box on back. My buddies Red bones only have the box and some hay. They will probably be ready to get running when we cut them loose

I dont mind cold weather with some snow on. However with bare ground it sucks

That chart is a departure from normal chart. On weather channels web site they claim a heat wave is sweeping the country.  not here

We hunt coyotes and cats this time of year. Running sucks right now. No snow on the ground

Yeah they run about 2,000 times better on snow. Especially new wet snow. The colder it is the slower the running. Shot one today but it was kinda luck. The cat treed quick. Spent the rest of the day following cold trails. Dogs would start hot and then loose it on big areas of bare ice. When its below 0 its a bitch

My hillbilly Red Bone wouldn't like that cold and snow at all! I had a Black and Tan a few years back that was cold to the bone. He could trail in an ice storm!
