True. The South Florida bike scene is nothing but Busa's and ZX14's. A bunch of shit talking ass clowns. All they know is how to go fast in a long straight line. What do they use for gear? Nothing... In fact, one long stretch of Hwy 27 West of Miami is known as Busa Lane where the squids play on Sunday mornings.

That's why I laugh at the Florida "bike" scene in general. If you don't go to a track, you have no right callin yourself "fast"

In reality, if I had a throttle stop and went WOT in 6th I could literally fall off and the bike would keep going as long as the road was smooth and perfectly straight Doesn't even require a rider
|
Brilliant! I am totally using that line next time someone tries telling me corners suck.

In what way? acceleration, top speed, or lap times??? I'll give you the 1st 2, but not the last one.

...me too. Last time you and I were at Putnam this guy on a red/white S1000rr came on the INSIDE of me at "the Bus stop" right hander. I almost wrecked watching him and I was thinking "holy $hit this guy is nuts......holy $hit I cant believe he made that turn.....holy $hit I need to learn how to ride better." lol
Good old expert class...when you think you are fast, just wait one second.

I could give two sh!ts what anyone else thinks. I've been riding since 1974 and had my 1st sport bike in 1986 (Ninja 600). The 86 Ninja was after building KZ-1000's and many other fast bikes. Also had many other sportbikes of all models. They're all sweet in different ways. My R1 will keep me satisfied in all areas for the rest of my life. Besides the performance, the looks are so beautiful I could never sell it. If anything I'll get another bike.
Edit: Plus I've pissed on plenty of other bike including a BUSA in all types of riding, twisties, 1/4, 100 MPH roll on.

That's why you need to follow my lines, slow down, and save money. You'll never be fast, so why try? Just come out and enjoy the scenery like I do. At my pace there's time to enjoy it

If they question you....just send them here
http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=256619
Drag strips require a kill switch lanyard so if you fall off the bike stops....road courses don't

Maybe I enjoyed the scenery too much at Putnam. I can easily tell you the elevation changes on the inside part of the track...possibly even what brand of fertilizer they use on the grass. lol
