Gilles question for the more informed
Does anyone know if a set of Gilles chain adjusters for a 04-06 will fit on a 02-03? I have searched for some time but they no longer make them for the 02 03

If memory serves they did not. Difference in the mounting screw I think. However I'm remembering back to 06 when I put mine on...

Hey Ev, I'm at the point I don't care what the colour is. I'll just get them reanodized.
If I can get hold of a set, I'll look into getting a few sets machined up for whoever wants them.
I know someone who has cnc parts machined on a regular basis and in small quantities.

IIRC, it's a difference in the mounting surface. Not the bolt hole diameter.
If you don't want anything else, keep scouring. Or, go the custom route. I had some custom made rearsets for my '03. They were strong enough to support my big arse without any flex.

If I could find someone willing to let us borrow a set for a few months during winter would you want them to have some made up from?

I have no idea if the suzukis will fit Ben I wouldnt even know who to ask either.
If I get a set before T.C. Im going to send them to him so he can take a copy off them. He's as desperate as me to find the holy grail of chain tightening

Yeah that seams to be the case. I think our next step is trying to get a set to take a copy off and machine a couple sets. Frank was going to look into modifying a newer model set as well. So I guess we will figure something out one way or the other

If you can, that would be the best way to go about it.
