Gilles gold rearsets on white/red R1

What do you guys think of the color coordination? Great rearsets from Motomummy for one hella of a price! They only had them in gold for $320 on black friday.....So I said screw it let's see what they will look like. Looking at them on the bike I still can't decide if I like them, originally I was thinking black. I keep thinking "gypsy" colors when I see the blue and gold together. What do you folks think? Cheers

Awesome looking bike! I would have gone the black route for me but the gold looks good too with the forks!

The forks make it work (damn I sound like someone on Bravo )

You can always order spare parts in black to break up the gold

Thanks fellas! That's true about the black parts, especially those adjusting plates. As far as functionality the grip of the pegs is real nice.

Is this a serious question, or are you just looking for an excuse to show off?

That looks amazing.

Interesting.. I am looking at these rear sets also, but I think the intention for the shift side is to 'flip' the input arm(knuckle) so the shift rod is more 'in plane' with the shift lever due to the changed lower location - e.g rearwards of the pivot point of the shift lever rather than forward of the pivot and inset.

Would be great if you could try it and post back findings?

I am not sure what you mean on the location of the arm. I set it up per the instructions, but I did rotate the arm buckle to see if it makes a difference. From just looking at it maybe there is 1 or 2mm more to the outside.
