Yes ofcourse, and correct didn't need or want any help. We were prepped for an event like this for sometime now. Only thing that was really a PItA was getting gas to run the Generators. I should really start a "Sandy & Me" thread it was quite the experience.

You can buy 15gallon cans for fuel from several sources. Co-op's and service stations use them for bulk oil. Store the gas in those and swap it out every 6 months to keep it fresh.

 I always keep the generator gassed up, run it once a month to help cycle the fuel in it. Also keep 10 gallons of gas in cans so that I can operate the generator for at least 1 week solid or 3 weeks on and off running critical appliances. As a last resort my truck tank is 28 gallons that could be tapped into.
