It's different since he served his country, as well as the fact that he's celebrating his acestors accomplishments. You know, the one time they got froggy and attacked the most powerful nation in the world. Then got the smack down for 4 years until they got "all blowed up and stuff," As my son would say.

I think I know that as well ! Different backgrounds and cultures and Heredities sometimes have a different opinion of history. And may be offensive to others.

Back in the day, we used to have a moment of silence while in the classrooms. I wonder if that is practiced anymore or is it all a faded memory. Or worse yet, not politically correct.
