So would a 200 more on a progressive be more of a benefit in the long run?

Progressives are faster, but give you less quality control. Gotta walk before you run. Most reloading accidents I see are guys who skip the single stage and go right to the progressive. That's how I get a free 1050 dillon.

Gotcha , So for around 400 I can get a decent starter kit with trimmer. What about a tumbler?

That's up to you, you can douche them clean and dry them or buy a vibratory case cleaner. 223 must be cleaned before they touch the dies or you get damage.

meh... you could have built one just as well as Barrett... but that is my opinion... they have nice products granted, but I cant justify their price is all.... esp with my own knowledge sitting in my head on how to build one.....LOL but yeah 5.56 is a better caliber for real world .... the 6.8 is a nice round, but the price and availability of the round isnt there IMO

Only costing me $250. Don't know too many people who can build one for that.
