Thanks, Now I'm new to Yamaha so I'm sorry but I noticed in these manuals the different model number..?
what it the difference between the
YZFR1 (B) BL BB BCB BW and the R1 (C) etc..
My model says BL which I thought was the Color but?

The BL, BB, BCB, and BW designates allow the rider to enable PRM.

The first letter is the year designation (B=2012, C=2013, D=2014 etc) and the second letter is color (L=Blue, B=Black, W=White).

Cheers Chaps, Thanks for all the help. My R1's firing on all 4's & what a ball tearer- Quick as lightening & sticks to the road like poo to a blanket! First R1 ever (VFR800's & VF1000 p\before) & what a ride!

I've got some excellent condition Genuine R1 '08 BLACK Satin & Gloss Side, Belly pan, windscreen front wheel fender & front nose fairings I'd like to sell. Is there somewhere on the R1 forum site that I can list them with pics? I tried looking at the spares section but from what I could it seems to only be for sponsored retail stores.
