New here with a R1!
Hows it going guys!
Just picked up my R1 two days ago, I got a 2007 with 3,500 miles.
My old bike was a 2005 636 that I sold about 2 years ago. I have been sticking to cars since then but It feels so good to be back on a bike!
So what are some must haves and must knows for these bikes?
I'm huge on forums and glad to be here!

Two "must knows"
1) The more time you spend on this forum, the more money you'll end up spending.
2) Since you have an 07-08 model, and this happened to me, I'd advise you to look into the intake valve guide issue that affected these particular model years. This happened to me recently.

I know exactly what you mean... We come across the same problem on the charger forums.

Some Forums out there our horrible and don't deserve to be in existence! So I like to give them a test run.... Then again it took me about a year before I switched over on cencallx.com lol

I would also try the 5500rpm roll out to see if your ecu has the glitch in it
