totaly stock they run fine, but once you start doing ANY kind of mods it is gonna get hurt.... even if you try and use a programmer... if you are going to do anything to it... go buy the ARP head bolts and replace them all.... then you are good... for the most part...LOL

Owned a 90, 94, 99, and 01. Finally had to choose between mustangs and R1s when I got married. Might get another someday, I like how much more ponies they're making now than back then. I think my 90 and 94 (both 5.0s) only made like 215 hp. 01 was by far my favorite. Black with tan leather, 5 speed, Steeda cat back and shifter, K&N cold air, Mach 460 stereo.

put a 6 litre in those and a turbo and those suckers MOVE. Two of my friends with them are running 8.9 and 9.0 in them. Damn fast cars when you chuck a real motor in them

I had an aod in mine originally. Over drive went out on it @90k, rebuilt it with a few goodies, and blew it again only a few thousand miles later when the plastic bushing broke for the kick down cable. $0.07 part took care of the whole trans I've bought a TKO600 since then
