Cummins is a stout motor. Just sucks its in a crap truck.
I personally have a 02 Duramax with EFI live tuning from duramaxtuner. Built sun coast stage 4 trans with a 1056 converter. S&b CAI. Mbrp 5" straight exhaust. Ported turbo mouthpiece. Air dog 150 lift pump. Straight center link. Tie rod sleeves. Detroit locker. Moser axle shafts. Auto meter boost n pyro. Looking at getting a S366 or doing a twin over stock. 500 rwhp just isn't enough anymore haha

I was kidding my buddy works at CAT. 3100 line I believe?.. His dad runs test cell.
Kinda funny story.. Was helping my friend out a lift on his Cherokee and went to grab what I thought was a 5gal bucket to sit on.. Nope was a piston. When your expecting to pick up a plastic bucket and get that instead it's kinda a surprise

Mines the C18 Marine line for my boat. the pistons are not the size of a bucket in mine though. That must have been one massive motor. It does weigh over 4000 pounds without the twin disc attached. I think its roughly 6000 pounds with.

I think they mainly build for generators and the giant mining equipment.

Must be or some other large equipment because Ive never heard of the 3100 line. I had a 3208 once but that was just a small 375 horse marine.

Still a fast truck though!

I thought it has launch control that basically does everything for you. Maybe the driver didn't use it.

The launch control doesn't do everything for you. But it does help. Those things leave hard as hell and cut short 60's, that one did not haha

The only truck I know that you can double the power is the 08-10 Fords. Came stock with 350 at the crank and with a tune exhaust and intake can be in the 550 to 560 range at the wheels. The others cant that I know of without major mods turbos injectors studs transmission, etc. now this is not with an off the self programmer either.
