Watsen flush mount turn signal color
Hi guys, i have a black 2008 r1 & I'm about to purchase a set of watsen design flush mounts for my bike. I've realised there are 3 blacks to choose from & i want the colour to match as close as possible to the fender. I'm sure the black gloss is'nt going to match but I'm not sure if the matte black or metalic black is the ideal colour for the 2008 r1 fender. Can anyone help?? Thanks.

This is what i want. did you order the matte black or metalic black. Im sure the 2008 fenders are the same as 2009, if not very similar black. Looks awesome.

The Watsen guy matched my signals pretty spot on after I called him and talked to him. I wanted metallic black. The 3 month wait sucked but worth it. So recommend calling him seems to make the project a little more personalable then just another order. I called probally about 6 times, first about the color and then wondering the status. The signals are high quality, paint job perfect, install a snap.

Nope. They would be bright as hell and probably won't last that with them being on all the time.

I'm sure they is a way to have them on, but again to bright all the time IMO.

Awesome idea to put the flush mounts on the undertail. I might do the same as no intergrated tail lights compare to this brightness. Thanks for your help guys i think best thing to so is call up & get it matched exactly to the fender colour!!

Hey Blackshadow. What color did you get? Metallic black or Glossy Black? I think US 2010 and 2011 R1 have the same glossy panel. I'm pretty sure it's not matte black, that would be the 09.

I ordered mine on 1/25. Just got the credit card report being charged so should be shipping any day now. Guessing 6-8 week from order is accurate. Ordered matte black

My 2011 is metallic black so got the signal to match, pretty damn close IMO.

Don't get your hopes up, charged your card to buy material and then begin build. I would say end of April to be more accurate.

They are so bright its amazing, especially from something so small. They will make you see spots, staring at them from over 20ft away in daylight !

Can u show some up close pics of how u mounted those? That is a good idea. I also went with the matte black for my 05.
