Yamaha fender eliminator : Yamaha R1 Forum

Does anyone have any experience with the Yamaha fender eliminator for a 2011 R1? I am putting on a CustomLED taillight and didn't want to hack up my Evotech Tidytail removing the signal mounts.
I found one new in package at a dealership with an inch of dust for $5....they list for $129. If it works well, I may have a tidytail for sale.
