I had a H3 for 2.5 years and decided to get a new ride, 2013 Passat se, not bad so far. Sunroof, free oil changes for 3 yrs, "leather" or leatherete whatever that is, satalite radio, hd radio, all that. What do you think?

My wife has a 2010 Passat and loved it until the free service ended. Then they tried screwing her over on the service ($1100 for tires) and more and more stuff kept breaking not long after their service calls. The car itself was great up to that point. Very well made and everything is in the right place. Shifter doesn't block the radio or drink holders. Umbrella holder in the door jam so you don't have to put a wet umbrella in your car. Lots of trunk space and fold down rear seats for bigger items. Power point in the trunk and iPod dock in the glove box that displays on the navigation screen and charges as well. Lots of great standard features. I wish the service dept wasn't scammers.

No, you gotta pay interest on that model, I bought mine using the costco auto buying program. So , the gm told me invoice plus $100.00 on any model except the diesel. I also got them to get my windows tinted at no cost.

____ ********>yeah man, my driveway is kind of short but the car is a bit long and very confortable ride in the rear seat. Nice car you got there, that's a seat? never seen one before. Where in Europe do you live?

I did not get the extended warranty because they wanted 2400 bucks for it and I'm not going to keep it for more than 3 years. I really want to get a Tundra crewmax in 3 years but we will see. I was talking to the service guy at the dealership and he said to me that they make commission on what they sell, no hourly job. That is why they are such scammers, the more they sell, the more $ they make.

my co worker has one. they are nice, they do what they're intended.
they dont win any beauty awards in my eyes.
they are quite long in person.
that free servicing stuff is.. well its not really free.. if you think about the costs of servicing, you arent really saving as much as you think.
if you are happy with it, thats what matters.

I love my 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI. I looked at a lot of cars when I was looking to buy a new one and am very pleased with it, no regrets whatsoever.

It looks pretty good. I'm a big fan of VW and german cars in general but I'm still torn on the new design VW went with.
I'll say one thing tho, it'll last. I have an '03 Passat and it just rolled over 186,000. Still running strong.
