Go-Pro for $139.99 (Knockoff??)
http://www.woot.com/sale/swann-frees...=email#tracked
Saw this on Woot.com
Looks like a GoPro. Chinese knockoff? If I hadn't just got my Contour for 300, I would have probably tried this out. Just wanted to put this out there for everyone. Cheaper alternative to GoPro, specs seem to be the same. Interesting to get maybe for a second or third camera on the bike.

Swann makes a lot of different video cameras, and my experience with them is mainly for surveillance cameras, decent quality.
I picked up an actual Go-Pro HD on there for $199 a few months back. Personally I would pass and stick to the Go-Pro brand or Contour.

Very true. I have also experienced interference from the engine on cheaper cameras that I don't experience from the 3 Go-Pros I have or the Contour HD.

I picked up a gopro for I think $140 on woot a few months ago. and a Contour Roam for $89 off amazon a couple days later. Ended up selling the gopro and made $50 profit...and kept the contour.

Would be alright for a second angle or to put in places where it could possibly be destroyed. Wish I had a spare 140 to test it out

This is a common type of action camera that use in sports racing event to take good action shots and it has also a good quality of lens.
